AT&T must not be interested in SW Virginia because the service is nonexistent. Camping near Rose Hill. Walking was easier I must have “trail legs” now.

I received this message from Curt’s GPS.  I wish I had more to share, but as the text says, his ability to communicate is very limited.
I want to thank everyone for the words of encouragement and support that have been emailed, messaged, and posted today.  You guys are great!
I was only able to speak to him as he set out this morning, but he sounded good and was ready to more forward and put last night’s set back behind him.
He’s excited to meet Givan tomorrow at Martin’s Station and tackle Kentucky together!

You make your 5 times Great Grandfather very proud of what you are doing. Hope you feel him at your side walking with you. You might not be able to have a conversation with him but he is listening to you. You will soon have someone to walk with and the time will for sure go faster. I say prayers for you to be safe and have fun at the same time. God is also with you on this adventure. I’m proud of you for doing this hike, even though I don’t know you personally. I have been a fan of Daniel Boone since I was a kid and watched Fess Parker play Daniel Boone on TV and I know that the real Boone was probably not quite the same but still enjoyed the show and what you are doing. It is part of America’s history and should be kept alive for the generations to come. Thank you and God bless you!
